Empowering Indigenous women as multi-generational stewards of cultural lifeways, intertribal peacemaking, and collective sovereignty
We all begin with the land.
Itsu (“eet-su",” meaning west, dusk, and evening in Esselen) Circle is committed to bridge building for Indigenous Nations across Turtle Island. Our support and collaboration is guided by Indigenous values, grounded in sacred perspectives, and our responsibility to ancestral lands. We are committed to the First Peoples of Turtle Island.
We support the healing of intergenerational ancestral trauma, bridge-building skills, Indigenous values to share with Indigenous communities.
We offer opportunities for collective participation in land stewardship that works toward the rematriation of Indigenous lands, including uplifting Indigenous sovereignty and cultural regeneration practices.
